The school bus was carrying a group of both children and adults with special needs when it collided with a Jeep and one other vehicle on Hackensack Street at North Avenue in Wood-Ridge, sources said.
The bus was evacuated and no injuries were reported. The Jeep driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
